We worked on this project with architect Maria MacVeigh. We were engaged to conceive furniture layouts, decorative schemes and the selection of both new and specially commissioned furniture.
We provided a detailed level of finish that included accessories and artwork. The reception rooms benefited from the most daylight and their decoration responds to this aspect with lighter colours and reflective materials. In contrast, the cinema on the Northside of the house is lined with dark navy silk.
The interior has a contemporary grounding but is softened with colour, texture and antique and vintage furniture. The clients wanted each room to be subtly connected by colour and material so the overall effect is cohesive.
